Parkway Youth Hockey is an organization that maintains and runs a hockey program open to and inclusive of all interested youth of the Parkway area: i.e. West Roxbury, Roslindale, and Jamaica Plain. The program is designed to teach and develop hockey skills at all times emphasizing the importance of sportsmanship, fair play, teamwork and responsibility in the overall context of having fun. When a player is assigned to a travel team, preference is given to the Parkway Youth Hockey member.
The second and final in-store fitting will take place this Saturday, June 8th at Play it Again (630 Washington St., Dedham) from 10am-6pm. If you are new to the program as a travel player or need to replace a uniform that was lost or no longer fits please take a moment to come by and have your child fitted for next season. All orders can be made using the link below, please be sure to order both home and away jerseys and if necessary, socks. Valley Hockey League & Middlesex Yankee Conference Travel Teams
The cost to try out for a 2019-2010 VHL Mite, Squirt, Peewee, Bantam, or a Middlesex Yankee Conference Girls U10, or U12 travel team is $300. Players placed on a travel team and who participate on that team for the upcoming season will have all $300 applied to the tuition costs. Final tuition costs of travel teams will be determined by the PYH Board of Directors at a later date after league registration and game fees have been forwarded to PYH.
Players who make a travel team and choose not to participate on that team must notify PYH by email no later than March 31, 2019 that your child will not be playing for a PYH Travel Team for the upcoming season. All notifications must be made in writing and sent to PYH at:
in order to be eligible for a refund.
A player or family submitting an email notification received by PYH on or before March 31, 2018 will be eligible for a $200 refund.
A player or family submitting an email notification received by PYH after March 31, 2018 will not be eligible for a refund of any portion of the try out fee.
